I used the Duck Pond water source for my aquarium. I also added two plants into the aquarium slide right above some muck. I put it on the microscope and watched the behavior of some of the organisms in the slide. There were quite a bit of water fleas and other small organisms. One of them had a flagella like tail that whipped itself around through the water. You could also watch and see the bladders in the plants working and see them heaving up and down.
